The Colorado Clean Energy Cluster has named Drew Bolin as Chief Executive Officer. In this newly created role, Mr. Bolin will lead the organization’s statewide efforts to expand clean energy business and partnership opportunities, initially focusing on the three main initiatives – FortZED, the International Cleantech Network, and the statewide clean energy supply chain initiative in partnership with the Colorado Association for Manufacturing and Technology – when he assumes his new role in January.
The Colorado Clean Energy Cluster continues to sharpen its business focus with a new Supply Chain Initiative announced on Thursday. The program aims to grow the Clean Energy supply chain in Colorado through the identification of capable component suppliers and ensuring connections among suppliers, customers, and industry resources.

CCEC Board member Spirae, Inc., located in Fort Collins, Colorado, signed a collaboration agreement with the Kalundborg Municipality in Denmark at the recently concluded World Climate Solutions Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. The agreement, signed by Martin Damm, Mayor of Kalundborg Municipality and Sunil Cherian, CEO of Spirae, outlines a collaboration framework for meeting Kalundborg’s energy goals by becoming a “Smart City.”
CCEC Executive Director Judy Dorsey traveled to Copenhagen to attend and present at World Climate Solutions, and to help convene the first Manager's Meeting for the International Cleantech Network (ICN). At the meeting, the Oslo Renewable Energy and Environment Cluster (OREEC) joined CCEC and Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster (CEC) as an official ICN partner.

Andy Bennett is currently presiding over the management of Telvent Miner & Miner (TM&M), as well as the Electric Utility Group which includes Telvent’s Electric SCADA, RTU businesses and Smart Grid initiatives.
Bennett’s past 15 years of work experience has been focused on the enterprise implementation of GIS for distribution utilities. The emphasis of those efforts has been on streamlining business processes and matching technology to meet the needs of the utility business. Currently, Mr. Bennett‘s focus is on the integration of enterprise GIS with real-time applications, an effort focused on driving out operating efficiencies associated with Smart Grid.
